The months of March, April and May are the local spring months of Nepal. Spring is the second most popular season for trekking in Nepal. After winter, the snow melts clearing the trails. These months see the increase in hikers and travelers.
March marks the beginning of spring. March and April are a beautiful time to enjoy crystal clear views. You can see the colorful rhododendron flowers and other wildflowers of the regions.
The average temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius in the lower regions. The nights are cooler. It is usually cold in early March. At altitudes above 4,000 m, it is usually very cold in the evenings and mornings. You can comfortably contemplate the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
The lower regions of the walk are filled with bright red, pink, white and yellow wildflowers. These are great months for hikers who love to enjoy flora and fauna.
During May, at low altitudes, a strange mist often appears over the mountains. This is not the case for high altitudes. In May, the temperature begins to rise. Average daytime temperatures range from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius at the lower altitudes. The nights are colder than the days.
Higher altitudes have lower temperatures. You can enjoy bright and warm days at altitudes above 4000m.
